Chief Morris Beardy is a citizen of Fox Lake First Nation, Manitoba.  Learning from past lessons of industrial development in his homelands, he has taken a proactive role for his community through strategic alliances.

Fox Lake First Nation is now leading some major initiatives in their traditional territory through partnership with industry, government, and Inuit proponents.

As electrician by trade, he has worked on several Hydro-related infrastructure projects for over 30 years as well as industrial, commercial, and residential construction.  He continues to mentor the younger generation of the value of hard work, skilled trades, and planning for the future.
